Years ago, while educating people about health and fitness through worksite wellness programs, I discovered yoga. It wasn't something I was looking for in my life, but rather something I felt required to do as part of my job, as many businesses like to offer yoga classes to their employees. I had been teaching group fitness, but had no idea how to teach a yoga class. In fact, I thought yoga was boring and couldn't understand why people were so attracted to it. I took a 2-day yoga teacher training and decided if I was going to be teaching yoga, I should probably attended an actual yoga class.
That was over 11 years ago. Now, with many hours of classes and over 500 hours of yoga teacher training- here I am! And in order to inspire and guide those who are also on this path, I am a Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
Today, yoga and mindfulness are an essential part of my life. My personal practice helps me bring balance and stability into my world. Yoga encourages me to slow down and live each moment in the present, without judgement. (The judgement part is a work in progress!)
My passion is working with those who have a desire to create harmony in their lives. Those who realize that true "wellness" is more than a diet and exercise program.
